Refund and Exchange Policy (Defective Goods)

1. Purpose
This policy explains the terms of refunds, exchanges, and repairs for our white cedar sheds.
2. Scope
Applies to residential and commercial clients in Quebec for purchases delivered and/or installed by us.
3. Definitions

Defective Good: A manufacturing defect or damage occurring before or during delivery.

Order Error: A discrepancy in the model, options, or agreed-upon dimensions.
4. Defective or Damaged Goods
Report the issue in writing within 7 days of delivery (include photos and a description).
We will evaluate and offer one of the following solutions: on-site repair, replacement of parts, or full replacement if necessary.
5. Order Errors
If the error is our fault, we will correct or replace it at no cost.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Since our sheds are custom-made, the order becomes non-refundable once production has begun.
Before production starts, a full or partial refund may be granted depending on materials already purchased.
7. Limited Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Exclusions: misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper installation, disasters, or extreme weather conditions.
8. Claim Procedure

Write to charles@cabanonscedre.ca including the invoice/contract number, a description, and photos.

We will respond within 5 business days.

An inspection may be arranged, followed by an appropriate solution (repair, parts, or replacement).
9. Processing Times
Reasonable delays may occur depending on the season, material availability, and site accessibility.
10. Transport and Fees
If the product is confirmed defective, we will cover the costs related to repair or replacement.
Otherwise, fees may apply (quote provided beforehand).
11. Commercial Clients
Remedies are limited to the cost of repair, replacement, or refund as stipulated; operational losses and indirect damages are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of Quebec, without diminishing the rights granted under consumer protection legislation.
